Delete your Racket Theory account.

Delete in the app

1. Open Racket Theory and sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Open Settings and choose Delete account.
3. Read the confirmation, then choose Permanently delete account.

Deletion cannot be undone. If you want a copy of your server account data first, download it from Settings.

Can’t open the app?

Email hello@rackettheory.com from the email address on your Racket Theory account. Use the subject “Delete my Racket Theory account” and tell us you want your account and its linked data deleted.

We may need proportionate verification to protect your account. Do not send passwords, authentication codes, identity documents or medical records with your initial request. Our privacy policy says we reply within 20 business days.

What happens to your data

Under our privacy policy, your account and information linked to it are deleted from our database within 30 days of your request. This includes your account information, saved tennis profile, setups, match records and saved reviews. Consent-change records are removed on account deletion.

• Server logs: kept for up to 30 days.
• AI information already sent to OpenAI: may be kept for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring.
• Optional iPhone crash reports at Sentry: kept for up to 90 days.
• Settled AI budget records: the link to your account is removed after 90 days; the cost ledger is kept with no link to you.
• Local drafts: remain on the device until cleared. Demo and local-preview data can remain in the browser.

After deletion we keep only:

• A deletion record: an internal account number and the dates of your request and of the deletion, with none of your tennis data. It stops an old phone from syncing deleted data back and shows the deletion was done. We keep it as long as the service runs.
• A subscription record: a minimal record no longer linked to you, kept only so the same purchase can’t be claimed by another account.

Database backups: our database provider keeps daily backups for up to 7 days, then deletes them. Deleted information can remain in a backup for up to 7 days after it is removed from our database.

Cancel your subscription separately

Deleting your Racket Theory account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel with the store where you subscribed to stop future renewals.

App Store

On your iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Racket Theory → Cancel Subscription. If no cancel button appears, check the status shown by Apple.

Google Play

In Google Play, select your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Racket Theory → Cancel subscription, then follow the prompts. Use the Google Account that holds the subscription.
